Need a few different brakes for your quiver?  Moving the BMFs to a wider or narrower ski?  Choose a brake width that is the same or larger than the waist dimension of your ski. However, it is possible to customize the fit by bending the brake out or in up to about 5mm. For example, you could use the 100mm brake on a ski that is 105mm underfoot (waist) by carefully bending the brake legs out 5mm. You want the brake ends to barely miss the ski edges when going up and down.

Bishop Telemark ski brakes can be easily installed and removed with a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Two screws hold the brake in place with the Brake Cover. Four brake sizes to choose from to fit your rig. It is possible to bend the brakes out or in 5mm for a ski that is a little wider or narrower than the stated brake size. It's best to get the brake as close as possible to the ski edge without interfering.

This latest version of the brakes is designed so the brake spring wires rest on the back of the Brake Cover tabs.  Some older versions (before 2022) had wires that protrude out towards the front and need to be resting on the metal of the Toe Cage (BMF/3) or Baseplate (BMF/R) to achieve proper brake force, not sticking down below the binding resting on the ski or the Switch Plate.

When properly installed, BMF brakes will never be floppy.  Floppy brakes suck, we don't do that.

Sold as a pair of two (2) brakes. No brake Covers or screws are included as you can use the existing Brake Cover and the two (2) M4 x 12mm Phillips-head screws that come with every BMF binding
