Skiing with a single long pole or "lurk" (or "Pachon" in French) instead of two ski poles has a long history dating back to the 1800s and probably earlier. Bishop has collaborated with San Juan Sticks out of Silverton, Colorado to bring you a modern, dual-function take on this ancient skiing tradition. Our San Juan Stick can be used as one long pole, or quickly separated into two poles for backcountry travel, lift lines, or navigating tight trees. It can also be used for instruction and improving techniques.
